The team had a great worship service this morning (4.5 hours)! We are missing what worship is about when we get “antsy” after 45 minutes!
The team reports their plans might have to change for this week. Due to the abundance of rain (lot more than normal), several roads are flooded. They are readjusting to other projects this week. God is still going to get the glory during this week.
Please pray for our team!!
Our mission team left on Saturday, September 4 to Guatemala. This is our application of our Acts 1:8 strategy and the further implementation to the Journey process - Showing Jesus to our world!
Mission Team: Bro. Morgan Bailey, David Foreman, Mike Dunn, Diana Hawk, Shamblin Griffice, Ronald McCrary & Betty McCrary!
Ukraine Mission Trip - Saturday, May 9th
The team arrived home safely and tired! With enthusiasm the children and friends welcomed everyone home! Once rested, we are sure they have a lot of stories to tell!
Thank you for your prayers and involvement in this mission opportunity.

We received the following message from the Ukraine Mission team:
It is our last day working in the clinc. We saw over 75 folks today. There were 15 decisions made during the day. There is so much more to share and look foward to share them with you personally. Everyone is healthy!

Canaan Baptist Church joined with other churches in the community last night at our “Kick-off” event for the National Day of Prayer. Our focus continues today as we joined with the people of Bessemer at the 1st Presbyterian Church. Everyone is invited to attend today at 11:45am.
Canaan Baptist Church’s Young at Heart Choir will be performing.
The clinic has gone great today. They have seen over hundred. Over a three day period, they have seen over 62 decisions made. They all will be followed up by team and believers in the area. God is definetly working so you know the devil is trying too. God is so much bigger. Pray for safety of all the International Mission Board missionaires. Thank you!
We heard from Amanda today “things good. Everyone safe. Multiple opportunites to witness. A few decisions made.”
We heard from Angie today:
Please continue to pray for the team.
